Wine for the people

new skanu is a project born of a love for wine and forging a new path.

We are passionate importers, distributors and retailers of natural wine and other wonders. 

Brought to life by Sean, an engineer from Sydney with a WSET Level 3 Award in Wines. And his wonderful wife, Auguste, a foodie, social butterfly and digital marketing professional.

We drink a lot of wine. And eat way too much food.

We love drink and food that is approachable, accessible, perfect for sharing and enjoying. That story is part of our story.

We find that our favourite things, and those that give us the most joy, are natural, authentic, lovingly crafted produce with personal stories. The stories are important. They are often of those that decided to throw aside ordinary to create something personal, something a little bit special. These are stories that we hope to share with you.

The Wine

All of our wines are Natural Wines unless specifically noted otherwise, to us, that means:
- Grapes are grown Organically or Biodynamically
- Indigenous yeast fermentation
- Unfined and unfiltered
- Minimal, or no added S02
- Small, independent producers

- Vynuogės yra auginamos ekologiškai arba biodinamiškai
- Vyno gamybai naudojamos tik mielės esančios ant vynuogių ir aplinkoje, nenaudojamos mielės "iš pakelių", gamintos fabrikuose.
- Sulfitų įdedama minimaliai, arba jų išvis nededama.
- Visi vynys gamina maži, nepriklausomi vyno gamintojai.
